Who will I be on Track With
Members and their guests, and Lime Rock Drivers Club guests. All drivers will be evaluated for driving ability and experience prior to being allowed to drive solo on the track.
What kind of car can I bring?
Any automobile (except SUV’s, trucks, or vans) can be driven as long as it passes a safety inspection and complies with the applicable noise regulations. Most of our Members will be driving street legal cars from manufacturers such as: BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus, Ford, Chevrolet, Mazda, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Shelby, Audi, and even Mini. Vintage cars and race cars are also welcome. Open cars must have suitable roll bars. There are always Club supplied track day vehicles available, for those members that don’t wish to use their own street car on the track.
Does my car need a safety inspection?
Yes, and any reputable dealership or an independent, certified mechanic can do the safety inspection.
What happens if it rains on my scheduled day
The Drivers Club runs rain or shine but we can always reschedule your track day.
Do I need a racing license to drive with LRDC?
No, a racing license is not required, but drivers must be 18 years old and hold a valid Driver’s License.
